Oral Transmission of the Dharmakaya Prayer

by the Great Master Shardza Rinpoche

The oral transmission of the Kuntuzangpo prayer can also be translated as manifest treasure. It is a prayer for beginning as well as more experienced practitioners. It helps one progress in practice and mediation; during death, it can help you remember the essential meaning for transitioning to the next life.

It is said that reciting this prayer can bring the same results as reciting all of Buddha’s teachings. It is called “the prayer of all-sufficient knowledge.” Major topics of this prayer include how emerging energies manifest, how one becomes confused and suffers, and how one can liberate or create well-being.

The Dharmakaya Prayer powerfully points out the journey to the next life for different levels of practitioners and can instill confidence. These are topics to incorporate into your daily practice and to help you focus your meditation.
