As the Geshe always carries out the practice connected with Mount Kailash, we will perform the ritual offering of smoke purification for the combined mandala of Dbal chen Ge khod and Meri. This ancient scripture was first translated into English by the Geshe himself, and now it can also be practiced in Spanish and English, and this ritual is the first time in the West.

Along with that, many here seem to desire transmission and empowerment, etc. Since the detailed text of Walchen Gekhod is being transmitted, everyone is welcome. Members of Kunzang Gar can participate directly, and others can register for the class and go online and on the websites.

Golden Turtle
Pure Dzogchen Teachings

June 28-29th, 2025
Time: 10:00- 13:00; 15:00-18:00 Italy time zone

The Golden Turtle has great significance in the Bön Dzogchen Tradition. The turtle represents the rare, hidden quality of natural mind which abides in the deep expanse of the ocean; gold symbolizes the purest, highest-level quality as a most valuable treasure. It represents the highest quality, hidden nature of Natural Mind.

A teaching of Drenpa Namkha, this quintessential terma gives a direct, easy method to develop the realization of the single sphere—a technique without dependence on sutra or tantra.

This text gives 30 different pointing out instructions, often called the 30 seals. The major subjects revealed are:

• Introduction to Ultimate Nature

• Path and ground as not separate, creating a quick path to        enlightenment

• Differentiating between non-conceptual and conceptual

• Pure Dzogchen as an easy path to attain liberation

• Instruction on how to meditate in Pure Dzogchen, including at the practitioner level

• Recognizing the signs of meditation experiences and removing obstacles

• Encouraging your realization and experiences

• Those who practice don’t need to worry about temporary mental conflicts or samsara.

Online & in person; recordings available.

The ancient Tibetan Bön religion has many healing rituals.  Among them is the ritual known as Lalu, Soul Retrieval and Long-Life Ceremony. It is performed for those whose life force has been diminished or damaged.  In order to have a healthy life, inner life force, soul or La must be strong.  Just as we catch all kind of diseases when our immunity is weak, we become vulnerable when our La is diminished.

When problems are caused by external negative forces, this ceremony is performed. It reinforces the power of the five elements which are the foundation of our spirit or life force. Soul Retrieval returns to us qualities and elements that have been separated from us. Through the use of prayer and ritual offerings, the external forces stop their harmful action.

Persons who have experienced trauma, accidents, abuse, great stress or personal loss. Those with loss of energy or interest in life, continually occurring misfortune or obstacles, illness that cannot be diagnosed or cured with medical treatment—all are indications that your La or life-force is weak or separated.

The Bodhisattva
Practice of Diligence

July 6th, 2025
Time: 10:00- 13:00; 15:00-18:00 Italy time zone

Geshe Namgyal has given many teachings on the conduct of a Bodhisattva. At this time, he will place special emphasis on the importance and benefits of practicing diligence. In ancient scriptures, it is said that all suffering can be overcome by relying upon diligence.
For example, difficulties that arise in this life, such as those concerning food and clothing, can be overcome by relying on diligence. If one works diligently at worldly tasks, one will not be lacking in food and clothing. This is an example of overcoming the sufferings of this life. More importantly, if one studies diligently, the darkness and confusion will be dispelled.
If one is diligent in virtuous activities, one will attain ultimate happiness. Therefore, all the Buddhas praised diligence as the basis of all good qualities. Whatever the view or meditation of the Dharma, all results can be attained by relying on diligence.
Moreover, for those who are lazy—the opposite of diligence—attaining Buddhahood will take a very long time. It is said that lazy people do not have any of the six perfections. It is said that laziness is the root of all afflictions.
Therefore, if we learn to recognize what laziness is and repeatedly cultivate diligence, which is its opposite, then whatever Dharma activities we undertake will be fruitful. This is a lesson on how to learn and practice these points.
