Soul Retrieval, Longevity Sadhana and Tsok
May 23-24
with Geshe Dangsong Namgyal
When problems are caused by external negative forces, this ceremony is performed. It reinforces the power of the five elements which are the foundation of our spirit or life force. Soul Retrieval returns to us qualities and elements that have been separated from us. Through the use of prayer and ritual offerings, the external forces stop their harmful action. In times of trauma, accidents, abuse, great stress or significant personal loss, one can lose part of your soul. The Soul Retrieval is a method for calling back and restoring that life force.

The ancient Tibetan Bön religion has many healing rituals. Among them is the ritual known as Lalu. It is performed for those whose life force has been diminished or damaged. In order to have a healthy life, inner life force, soul or La, must be strong. Just as we catch all kinds of diseases when our immunity is weak, we become vulnerable when our La is diminished.
Geshe Dangsong Namgyal had the experience of having performed the tshe dbang rigdzin retreat and recitation (Longevity Sadhana) very many times since childhood. Nowadays, peoples' lives and energies of body and mind are declining, many difficulties arise, and because there are many who request this ritual, we are performing a one-day ritual of long-life and summoning the la. Also, Geshe has new translations of the Longevity Tsok ritual in English and Spanish for all to participate.

Essence of Awareness:
Emptiness in Unity with Luminosity in the Bön Mother Tantra
June 6-7, 2026
with Geshe Dangsong Namgyal

This teaching focuses on the chapter of the Essence of Awareness,“Yeshi Thigle” of Mother Tantra, in which emptiness is introduced in unity with luminosity. It reveals the distinctions between our normal mind and rigpa. By cultivating the awareness of luminosity and basic nature as mother and child, mental suffering and emotional suffering are resolved. Among the myriad perceptions and appearances that arise, how does one determine the qualities of pure awareness? How does one attain the perception of ultimate realization? This teaching gives a comparison of the different views of attainment and directs one to the ultimate view.

The scope of some tantric teachings do not include the perfected view. For example, the view of some teachings on emptiness disregard luminosity, diminishing it’s meaning as a teaching. The scope of this teaching includes the focus on self-originated wisdom. It can open the door of Dzogchen, the Great Perfection. Through this key point, other forms of meditation disperse. As one practices and integrates the teaching into the holy result, many forms of conduct become rejected.

This teaching is very important for both Tantra, mahamudra, and Dzogchen. The text contains an extensive anthology of the philosophic system, but teaches the essence of practice for the benefit of tantric practitioners. Everyone can benefit from this essential foundational text. Whoever never had this practice and knowledge, cannot be perfect for six yogas in a tantric system.

with His Holiness Menri Trizin Rinpoche in person
June 26-28, 2026
Nampar Gyalwa not only encompasses the practice of the nine vehicles within its vast mandala, but also includes the practice of the one hundred and eight worldly most powerful protectors such as Indra, Dzambhala, Naga Kings, and others. longevity, abundant wealth and prosperity, for the pacification of obstacles, for averting unfavorable elemental circumstances, and so forth. Since each protector has its own practice, mantra, ritual, and meditation, it is an extremely important practice in
these difficult times.
