This teaching focuses on the chapter of the Essence of Awareness,“Yeshi Thigle” of Mother Tantra, in which emptiness is introduced in unity with luminosity. It reveals the distinctions between our normal mind and rigpa. By cultivating the awareness of luminosity and basic nature as mother and child, mental suffering and emotional suffering are resolved. Among the myriad perceptions and  appearances that arise, how does one determine the qualities of pure awareness? How does one attain the perception of ultimate realization? This teaching gives a comparison of the different views of attainment and directs one to the ultimate view.

The scope of some tantric teachings do not include the perfected view. For example, the view of some teachings on emptiness disregard luminosity, diminishing it’s meaning as a teaching. The scope of this teaching includes the focus on self-originated wisdom. It can open the door of Dzogchen, the Great Perfection. Through this key point, other forms of meditation disperse. As one practices and integrates the teaching into the holy result, many forms of conduct become rejected.

This teaching is very important for both Tantra, mahamudra, and Dzogchen. The text contains an extensive anthology of the philosophic system, but teaches the essence of practice for the benefit of tantric practitioners. Everyone can benefit from this essential foundational text.  Whoever never had this practice and knowledge, cannot be perfect for six yogas in a tantric system.

Yoga of Mother Tantra & Dzogchen Meditation

June 20-21, 2026 9am - 5pm pacific time

Mexico 10:00 am-6:00 pm     English with Spanish Translation | Online

The six methods of practice derived from the Bön Mother Tantra are not simple techniques; they require an understanding of their underlying philosophy, deity yoga, and the meditation on the primordial buddhahood of the fundamental ground.

Since his youth in a rural village in Tibet, Geshe Drangsong Namgyal was habituated to the frequent performance of Mother Tantra rituals. Through long-term study of these practices, he has focused on the methods for gradual progress in this system and has been teaching graded classes for several years.

This two-day workshop welcomes everyone to practice a profound path of great benefit for beginners to the more experienced.  It includes the yoga of channels, winds, and vital essences, physical yogic exercises (yantra-yoga), and powerful mantras. Furthermore, the resonance of seed syllables can alleviate ailments in various parts of the body, such as the channels, the lungs, the heart, and the back.

If one gains a proper internal understanding of these physical and mental disciplines, unsurpassed wisdom will arise. By dispelling dualistic grasping, mental afflictions, obscurations, and ignorance, one’s virtuous power, mental equilibrium, and the clarity of awareness are enhanced, causing internal timeless awareness to flourish.

The workshop will provide instruction and practice sessions on the profound methods for entering the nondual meditation of Great Completeness (Dzogchen), which integrates physical yogas of the channels and winds with the inner mind. Participants will learn how to initiate and sustain this essential meditation throughout their lives. All are welcome to attend.

Thousandfold Offering
of Nampar Gyalwa*

June 26-28, 2026

In person or online; English with Spanish translation

Recordings not available; real time only.

* Unfortunately, due to travel difficulties, H.H. Tridzin Rinpoché is unable to visit at this time; however, he has stated that when he is able to come in the future, he will bestow upon us the great empowerment of Nampar Gyalwa.

Nampar Gyalwa not only encompasses the practice of the nine vehicles within its vast mandala, but also includes the practice of the one hundred and eight worldly most powerful protectors such as Indra, Dzambhala, Naga Kings, and others. Among these are meditation practices, including Dzogchen. It is practiced for worldly happiness, longevity, abundant wealth and prosperity, for the pacification of obstacles, for averting unfavorable elemental circumstances, and so forth. Since each protector has its own practice, mantra, ritual, and meditation, it is an extremely important practice in these difficult times.

We shall  perform this significant ceremony of Nampar Gyalwa. I request everyone to please pay attention. Furthermore, regarding the "Thousandfold Offering of Nampar Gyalwa," there is a tradition of presenting a thousand offerings to the Mandala. The purpose of this is that by making offerings to the host of deities of Nampar Gyalwa, one is protected from natural disasters in the world, as well as from epidemics, poverty, conflicts, and so forth. There are many benefits, such as extending one's own lifespan, increasing wealth, accumulating merit, and assisting in the performance of virtuous deeds, ultimately establishing a connection to the supreme path of the Buddha's qualities.
